Restaurant Reviews
Float Rooftop Lounge -Marathalli

Its a unique Moroccan themed Rooftop Lounge by JALSA. The restaurant has a creme and red color scheme for the interior .The fish spa pool in the centre is a major attraction for the couples. I give a 5 out of 5 for my experience here. I recommend Murgh malai kabab and Bhutta & babycorn Milan which is rich mughlai creamy gravy served with hot steamed rice. Veg Fantasy Pizza was worth too.
Skyline Pizzeria -JP Nagar
Skyline Pizzeria has a wide variety of wood fired Pizza to offer. The restaurant is owned by Mayura Group .The location is very favourable ,it attracts lot of college crowd. The prices are affordable too. I liked the Snack cart which carries the fries ,a very innovative thought. The Pizzas are crisp and thin Crust ,are quiet good on sauce but lack the cheesy texture. I settled for French fries ,Chilli garlic pops for Appetizers. Pizza that I wanted to try were Veggie Paradise and Corn & Olives Pizza .The later one was a disaster with Barbeque sauce overpowering the cheese and herbs on Pizza.
Hang 10 Resto 'n' Cafe -BTM
The Hang10 Resto appears to be a fancy and posh restro for beholders passing by BTM 2nd stage. It was quiet likely for me to feel the same. But once you step inside one can find the decor and interior of the resto is average and not so appealing. The Food is worth the price .I savoured Fried crispy corn and gulped down a large glass of Royal Falooda. The resto specializes in cakes and exotic desserts like Red Violence,Death by Chocolate and Triple Fudge
Cafe Solaire - Golden Palms Resort
I opted for lavish buffet spread which was mix of Indian and continental. My favorites on the menu were Dahi bhalla ,Mexican Egg salad and Anar ki creamy fruit salad.Dahi Bhalla was placed along a chutney stand, very thoughtful!Roti basket and the gravy accompaniments were average.
The dessert counter was impressive. My palate looked colorful with carrot and banana shortbread, strawberry cheese berry cake and yellow pineapple pudding. Chocolate dipped jamuns were worth a try.
Carrots Restaurant - Kormangala
Carrots is a vegan restaurant, first of its kind in Bangalore. Located on a busy street in Kormangala, its a welcome change from the usual vegetarian grubs. This restaurant follows vegan-ism to the core , I was welcomed with a chilled glass of soy buttermilk. The tea served here is made of coconut milk and the mozzarella cheese on pizza is churned out of cashew milk! The menu is a vast 29 page booklet with a mix of Italian, continental, Indian varieties and a lot of fusion food too.I was fortunate to train under Chef Ram in Carrots Kitchen .I baked some of the exotic pizza and Calzone. Chef Ram and Chef Sushmita are extremely friendly and patient beings, I have ever met. They were kind enough to accommodate all my requests.
